About the position

The Customer Data Analyst position at HealthEdge Software Inc. is part of the Data & Analytics team, focusing on leveraging machine learning technologies to enhance digital healthcare products. The role involves analyzing customer data to provide insights that support strategic goals, collaborating closely with Customer Success and Product teams, and delivering actionable recommendations based on data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize SQL and git to build new analyses and support existing ones examining trends and patterns to increase understanding of customer behavior, product usage, and satisfaction.
  • Communicate findings to various company stakeholders in a cohesive story, summarizing insights from analyses and providing recommendations.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of reports and analyses to meet company and customer needs.
  • Drive change in data usage by surfacing and conveying customer-specific insights to account-facing teams and customers.
  • Translate customer business needs into data deliverables in the form of analyses, standard reports, and data extracts.
  • Provide strong data-driven business and technical judgment to support customer business needs.
  • Create training materials and tip sheets to help customers utilize reporting and data products effectively.
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects such as expanding the data warehouse and incorporating new metrics into the BI tool.
  • Train other functional team members on reporting tools and best practices from a data analytics perspective.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years of experience working with big data for healthcare
  • Expertise with Looker or other Business Intelligence/Visualization Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, etc.
  • Expertise with SQL and Excel
  • Understanding of relational databases and experience with designing transformations and mappings
  • Experience investigating data issues and working with cross-functional teams for problem resolution
  • High proficiency with PowerPoint, G Suite, and Microsoft Office tools.
