About the position

The Customer Data Management Specialist at Brady Corporation is responsible for managing customer data within the SAP system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data processing. This role involves creating and maintaining customer accounts, identifying and merging duplicate accounts, and validating data against external sources. The specialist will also perform audits to keep customer master data up-to-date and respond to customer account-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Create and set up new customer accounts in SAP
  • Process web registration by linking web users to their existing SAP accounts or creating new customer accounts in SAP for them
  • Identify duplicate accounts and merge them to a single account to consolidate their data
  • Identify incorrect customer data and replace them with correct data
  • Process external data sources by validating our database against external sources and appending data to our database from external sources
  • Perform audits to ensure customer master data is cleaned and up-to-date
  • Work daily request queue to answer customer-account related questions and requests
  • Other projects as assigned

Requirements

  • 1 year of data processing work experience
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong data matching skills
  • Ability to manipulate data file
  • Ability to process large amount of data quickly and accurately
  • Keen eye to spot incorrect data and errors
  • Passionate about data and learning new things
  • Strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with attention to the smallest details
  • Work with a sense of urgency
  • Team player
