About the position

The Customer Data Manager at The Chefs' Warehouse is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of customer master data across existing systems. This role involves managing a team of Customer Data Specialists, implementing new systems and tools, and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance customer setup processes. The position requires collaboration with various business segments and leadership to drive process improvements and support future acquisitions and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Manage the accuracy and timeliness of customer master data setup and maintenance.
• Implement new systems and tools for customer data management.
• Develop and manage standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices for customer setup.
• Interact with Business Segment leadership, Sales, Credit and Collections management, and Finance leadership.
• Manage a team of Customer Data Specialists responsible for customer account setup and maintenance.
• Define and maintain master file data change management processes.
• Cleansing data and resolving data-related issues through root cause analysis.
• Evaluate and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Support internal and external audits as requested.
• Develop stakeholder management relationships across all segments.

Requirements

• Mid-level experience in data management or related field.
• Strong skills in root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Experience with Information Technology systems, particularly JDE.
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and data standards.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in food service distribution or related industry.
• Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
