About the position

The Customer Development Representative at UniFirst is responsible for increasing sales within existing accounts in a dedicated market territory. This role focuses on leveraging established relationships with customers to drive organic growth and profitability by offering additional products and services. The position emphasizes training, career mobility, and a supportive family-like culture within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Assist existing clients by identifying opportunities and leveraging their current partnership with UniFirst by offering additional services, products, and solutions.
  • Work with the Customer Service team to develop strategies to further develop market share.
  • Conduct presentation meetings with potential clients as needed.
  • Achieve 80 activities per week, including 8 Facility Needs Analysis meetings, 3 presentations, and 1 sale.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
  • Proficiency with Mobile Technology, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM software.
  • Outside business-to-business sales or route sales experience preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with sales tools and data management devices.
