About the position

The Customer Engagement Applications Engineer at KLA Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting the Broadband Plasma Division by ensuring the effective adoption and application of KLA's patterned wafer optical inspection systems. This position involves collaborating with customers to address their unique challenges, providing both pre-sale and post-sale support, and maintaining strong client relationships to enhance customer satisfaction and product performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth expertise in product operation, applications, and customer processes.
  • Collaborate with critical customers to ensure KLA products are adopted and applied to their unique problems.
  • Support pre-sale activities including product demos, presentations, technical papers, and trade shows.
  • Provide post-sale support including customer training, support, and development of new use cases.
  • Assist internal customers such as service, engineering, and operations.

Requirements

  • Master's Level Degree OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or related field.
  • Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using data-analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in IC processing or Semiconductor equipment is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Strong teamwork skills with a balance between technical and people skills.
