About the position

The Customer Engagement Applications Engineer at KLA Corporation plays a crucial role in supporting the Surfscan Division, which focuses on technology that aids wafer, IC, and equipment manufacturers in developing, qualifying, and monitoring their process tools. This position involves collaborating with customers to ensure the effective application of KLA products, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving growth through technical expertise and support.

Responsibilities

  • Develop in-depth expertise in product operation, applications, and customer processes.
  • Collaborate with critical customers to ensure KLA products are adopted and applied to their unique problems.
  • Support pre-sale activities including product demos, presentations, technical papers, and trade shows.
  • Assist in post-sale activities such as customer training, support, and understanding customer processes.
  • Support internal customers including service, engineering, and operations.

Requirements

  • Master's Level Degree OR Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 2 years of experience.
  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Material Science or related field.
  • Ability to perform complex data/image analysis using data-analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in IC processing OR Semiconductor equipment is desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Strong balance between technical skills and people skills.
