About the position

Guardian is seeking an experienced customer engagement email marketing manager to support the Group Employee Benefits business. This role involves collaborating with various marketing teams to build and deploy email marketing communications aimed at driving customer engagement. The position requires strategic thinking, business acumen, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, while managing email campaigns across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy email marketing campaigns across various audiences and products.
• Collaborate with product, field, enrollment, and content marketing teams to optimize email content and scheduling.
• Manage email campaigns in Pardot and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including setup, testing, deployment, and reporting.
• Act as an internal email consultant on email marketing best practices for stakeholders.
• Establish email marketing best practices and develop automation strategies to improve channel performance.
• Provide clear campaign result metrics against goals and industry benchmarks.
• Assess email performance against goals and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 5 years of B2B/B2B2C email marketing experience
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Pardot
• Experience managing clients in an agency or internal environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to think critically and make optimization decisions based on data analytics
• Demonstrated understanding of email marketing best practices
• Skilled in marketing testing, data analysis, and reporting
• Experience working in MS Office (Excel, Word, PPT)
