About The Position

As a Customer Engineer specializing in Data Analytics at Google Cloud, you will play a crucial role in helping startups leverage cloud computing to enhance their productivity and collaboration. Your primary responsibility will be to partner with technical sales teams, acting as a subject matter expert in data analytics, to showcase the capabilities of Google Cloud to prospective and existing customers. You will engage with clients to understand their business and technical needs, develop tailored cloud solutions, and troubleshoot any technical challenges they face throughout the data lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
• Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts, including analytics warehousing, data processing, and ETL.
• Experience engaging with technical stakeholders and executive leaders.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, and data visualization tools on cloud native architectures.
• Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing or data analytics.
• Experience with architecture design and query optimization of scalable systems.
• Familiarity with the startup ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify business opportunities and develop strategies to resolve technical blockers related to the data lifecycle.
• Support the technical relationship with customers by sharing data analytics expertise, including technology advocacy and product briefings.
• Conduct full technical discovery and architect client solutions based on gathered business and technical requirements.
• Demonstrate and prototype integrations using Google Cloud products in customer and partner environments.
• Prepare and deliver business messaging to highlight the Google Cloud value proposition through presentations and product demonstrations.
