As a Customer Engineer III in Data Analytics for Google Public Sector, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the adoption of Google Cloud products among educational institutions, government agencies, and other businesses. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with prospective and existing customers, helping them understand the capabilities of Google Cloud and how it can enhance their operations. You will act as a subject matter expert in data analytics, working closely with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud offerings and develop tailored solutions that address specific business challenges. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting technical discovery sessions to gather business and technical requirements from customers. You will then architect solutions that meet these requirements, leveraging your expertise in cloud native architecture and Big Data technologies. Your ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner will be crucial as you prepare and deliver sales messaging, including product demonstrations, white papers, and responses to requests for information (RFIs). You will also collaborate with product management and engineering teams to stay informed about industry trends and product enhancements, ensuring that you can provide the most relevant and effective solutions to customers. Your work will involve troubleshooting technical issues related to database migrations and the data lifecycle, as well as engaging in proofs of concept to demonstrate the value of Google Cloud solutions.
