About the position

The Customer Experience Application Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the customer acquisition and sales of Context Labs' innovative products, including Immutably and Decarbonization as a Service. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and industry knowledge to bridge the gap between sales, customers, and the engineering team. The engineer will conduct product demonstrations, understand customer needs, and collaborate with various teams to ensure successful implementation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert to support data analytics teams in advanced quantitative analysis of GHG emissions.
• Provide technical expertise to sales representatives to identify customer needs throughout the sales process.
• Lead platform demonstrations during sales pitches to Senior Executives from potential customer companies.
• Communicate with clients and the professional services team to define technical and scoping requirements.
• Work closely with product management and engineering teams to stay updated on offerings and provide client feedback.
• Interface between customers and the software development team to ensure data ingestion into the software platform.
• Field technical queries from prospect and customer technical teams during the discovery process.
• Manage the creation and distribution of technical documentation in support of the sales cycle.
• Review facility emission documentation to identify potential sources of GHG emissions.
• Provide responsive customer service and maintain high member satisfaction.
• Communicate effectively across teams to ensure coordination and information sharing.
• Build strong internal and external relationships with professionalism and positivity.
• Create and manage project execution plans to ensure timely and quality deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of oil & gas industry operations experience.
• Significant experience in oil & gas operating facilities with understanding of process flow and fluid property fundamentals.
• Solid understanding of Piping & Instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and other facility drawings.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain technical subjects to non-technical people.
• Outstanding organizational skills to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to take initiative and produce results.

Nice-to-haves

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (process, facilities, mechanical, environmental, or similar).
• Project Management Certification (PMI or equivalent).
• Experience with end-to-end software application architecture or RESTful API integration.
• Hands-on experience with Process Simulation software.
• Experience with the Atlassian suite of management tools.
