About the position

As a Food Service Worker at Charley's, you will engage directly with customers, providing them with an exceptional dining experience. Your role involves preparing and serving food items, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The position emphasizes flexibility, teamwork, and a commitment to quality service, making you a vital part of the customer experience at the Exchange.

Responsibilities

• Greet every customer with eye contact and a smile.
• Acknowledge every waiting customer as soon as they arrive at the register.
• Listen to customer needs and ask follow-up questions to offer appropriate products.
• Ensure customers have an extraordinary experience while shopping.
• Complete transactions accurately and efficiently while engaging customers in conversation.
• Prepare and serve food items such as salads, meats, and beverages.
• Replenish food at serving stations and maintain cleanliness.
• Participate in achieving service and sales goals for the food facility.
• Collect money, ring sales on the cash register, and make change.

Requirements

• Able to lift up to 45 pounds (occasional lifting over 50 pounds).
• Able to learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Able to think quickly on the spot to answer customer questions.
• Able to take initiative and possess brand knowledge.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• Fast food experience preferred.
• Willing to cross-train and work in other areas of the store.
