About The Position

The Customer Experience Associate at Weis Markets plays a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing friendly and efficient service at the front end of the store. The associate is expected to follow company policies and procedures while assisting customers with their inquiries and concerns.

Requirements

  • Education or experience completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Smile and greet customers, answering their questions and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Follow company policies related to customer check out to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Operate front end scanning equipment and cash register, performing all related check out procedures.
  • Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring proper charging for items and collection of appropriate funds.
  • Follow security measures and cash drawer accounting procedures to avoid overages and shortages.
  • Adhere to store and legal guidelines regarding the sale of tobacco and alcohol.
  • Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to assist customers effectively.
  • Ensure general sanitation in the department by following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
  • Dispose of trash properly and maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
  • Cooperate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth store operations.
  • Continuously improve job performance and utilize all company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
