About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS at our branch, you will play a pivotal role in creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for our customers. This position empowers you to act as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers, where your primary responsibility will be to retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships. You will proactively identify financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services to help our customers achieve their financial objectives. Your ability to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while balancing daily operations will be crucial in providing exemplary customer service. In this role, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products, ensuring they are well-informed about their options. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from both customers and partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential in this role. You will also be expected to demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the branch's operations and customer service goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
