About the position

The role requires traveling between assigned branches and adapting to a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in proactive sales and customer service activities, including teller transactions.
  • Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs.
  • Serve in a concierge role by servicing walk-in customers.
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exemplary customer service.
  • Effectively resolve customer issues.
  • Educate customers on optimizing their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
  • Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process and referrals.
  • Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships.
  • Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in a relevant role or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in consumer deposit products.
  • Strong comfort level with technology.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking or financial services.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Comfort with mobile services and online banking.
