About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker at Huntington Bank, you will serve as a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, playing a crucial role in retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify the financial goals and needs of customers, recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You will be expected to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring exemplary customer service while educating customers on the bank's products, services, and technology. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending. A key aspect of your job will involve proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners. You will also be responsible for educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Additionally, you will adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures. Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation will be essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales
  • Experience can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
