About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker at Huntington National Bank, you will serve as a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, playing a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty. Your primary responsibility will be to retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying their financial goals and needs. You will recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services tailored to each customer's unique situation. This position requires you to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that every interaction reflects exemplary customer service. Additionally, you will educate customers on the various bank products, services, and technology available to them, empowering them to make informed financial decisions. In this role, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers about consumer deposit products and consumer lending options. A key aspect of your job will involve proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from both customers and partners. You will also be responsible for educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential in this position. You will demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation skills. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 year customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales, which can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
