About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS at our branch, you will be part of a welcoming and inclusive team environment where your contributions are valued and encouraged. This role empowers you to assist our customers in achieving their financial goals by acting as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying their financial needs and recommending suitable banking products and services. Your ability to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while balancing daily operations will be crucial in providing exemplary customer service. In this position, you will engage with customers to deliver excellent service and resolve any issues they may encounter. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers about our consumer deposit products, ensuring they are well-informed about their options. A key aspect of your role will involve proactively identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes following up with new customers, making outbound calls, and sourcing referrals from existing customers and partners. You will also play a vital role in educating customers and referring them to other areas of the bank to deepen their relationships and foster a strong partnership. Adherence to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential in this role. Your skills in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation will be put to good use as you navigate the responsibilities of this position. Additionally, you may be assigned other duties as needed to support the branch's operations and customer service goals.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
  • Being proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners.
  • Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership.
  • Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication and presentation.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
