About the position

The Customer Experience Banker at Huntington National Bank serves as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers, playing a crucial role in retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying customers' financial goals and needs, allowing the banker to recommend appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. The banker is responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring exemplary customer service while also educating customers on the bank's products, services, and technology. In this role, the banker will provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues, demonstrating proficiency in understanding and educating customers about consumer deposit products and consumer lending. The banker will proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners. Additionally, the banker will educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Adherence to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential. The banker will also demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation skills.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 year customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales, which can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
