About the position

As a full-time Branch Resource Team member, you will engage in proactive sales and customer service activities, including teller transactions. Colleagues in the Branch Resource Team will travel between their assigned branches, and the work location may change daily. It is essential for colleagues in the Branch Resource Team to have access to reliable transportation to facilitate working in multiple branches. In this role, you will be responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You will serve in a concierge role by servicing walk-in customers, processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, and balancing daily while providing exemplary customer service. You will also effectively resolve customer issues and demonstrate a strong comfort level with technology, educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking) to bank more conveniently and better manage their money. You will be proficient in consumer deposit products and consumer lending, proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners. Additionally, you will educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships pursuant to OCR guidelines. Adherence to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory related policies and procedures is crucial. You will demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, investments, consumer lending, business banking, and business lending while engaging in proactive sales and customer service activities, including teller transactions. You will be part of the Branch Resource Team and will support a defined group of branches in Huntington's Branch Network presentation.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role, or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales (preferred).
  • Cash handling skills (preferred).
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services (preferred).
