About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker at Huntington, you will serve in a concierge role, providing exceptional service to walk-in customers. Your primary responsibility will be to retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying their financial goals and needs. You will recommend appropriate deposit and other banking products and services, ensuring that customer transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. Balancing daily transactions while delivering exemplary customer service will be a key aspect of your role. In this position, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers on various consumer deposit products. A significant part of your job will involve proactively identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from both customers and partners. Additionally, you will educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential. You will also demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills, which are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 1 year customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales. Military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role can be included.
  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
