About the position

In this role, you will serve as a concierge for walk-in customers, focusing on providing exceptional service and building strong relationships with both consumer and business clients. Your primary responsibility will be to identify and understand the financial goals and needs of customers, recommending suitable banking products and services to meet those needs. You will process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring that daily balances are maintained while delivering exemplary customer service. Your duties will include proactively identifying opportunities to enhance customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which involves following up with new customers, making outbound calls, and sourcing referrals from existing customers and partners. You will also educate customers about various consumer deposit products and refer them to other areas of the bank to deepen their relationships and foster a strong partnership. Adherence to operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential in this role. To succeed, you will need to demonstrate strong skills in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation. This position is office-based and requires a commitment to providing excellent customer service while effectively resolving any customer issues that may arise.

Requirements

  • 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Cash handling skills preferred but not required.
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services is a plus.
