About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker at Huntington, you will serve as a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, playing a crucial role in retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify the financial goals and needs of customers, recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services. You will be expected to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring exemplary customer service while also educating customers on the various bank products, services, and technology available to them. In this role, you will provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues, demonstrating proficiency in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending. You will proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners. Additionally, you will educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build a strong partnership. Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential. You will also be expected to demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation skills. This position is office-based in Pittsburgh, PA, and is a full-time role that does not qualify for overtime pay.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 year customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales, which can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
