About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you will play a crucial role in our branch banking environment, which is designed to be welcoming and inclusive. This position empowers you to assist our customers in achieving their financial goals every day. You will act as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers, responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. Your primary focus will be on proactively identifying financial goals and needs, and recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services. You will also be tasked with processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently while balancing daily operations and providing exemplary customer service. In this role, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products, ensuring they are well-informed about their options. A key aspect of your responsibilities will involve proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners. Additionally, you will educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential in this role. You will also be expected to demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation skills. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the branch's operations and customer service goals.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
