About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you will play a crucial role in our branch banking environment, which is characterized by a welcoming and inclusive team atmosphere. In this position, you will be empowered daily to assist our customers in achieving their financial goals. Your primary responsibility will be to serve as a Financial Concierge for walk-in customers, focusing on retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. This will involve proactively identifying their financial goals and needs, and recommending suitable deposit and other banking products and services. You will also be responsible for processing customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that you balance your daily transactions while providing exemplary customer service. In this role, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers about consumer deposit products. Additionally, you will proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from both customers and partners. Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank will be essential to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. You will also be required to adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures. Demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation will be key to your success in this role. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the branch's operations and customer service goals.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales.
  • Cash handling skills.
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
