About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker at Huntington, you will serve as a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, playing a crucial role in retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to proactively identify the financial goals and needs of customers, recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services tailored to their requirements. You will be expected to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring that you provide exemplary customer service while also educating customers on the various bank products, services, and technology available to them. In this role, you will be tasked with providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products and consumer lending options. A key aspect of your job will involve proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from both customers and partners. Additionally, you will be responsible for educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. You will also need to adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures, demonstrating acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, and business lending. Strong communication and presentation skills will be essential to your success in this position.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • 1 year of customer service experience in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales, which can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role.
  • OR a Bachelor's Degree.
