About the position
The Branch Resource Team member plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and proactive sales support within the bank's branch network. This position involves engaging with customers to identify their financial goals and needs, recommending appropriate banking products and services, and processing transactions efficiently. The role requires flexibility as team members will travel between branches and adapt to changing work locations daily.
Responsibilities
- Engage in proactive sales and customer service activities, including teller transactions.
- Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs.
- Serve in a concierge role by servicing walk-in customers.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, balancing daily while providing exemplary customer service.
- Effectively resolve customer issues.
- Educate customers on optimizing their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
- Identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process and follow-up programs.
- Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
- Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in a relevant role, or a Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in consumer deposit products and consumer lending.
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales.
- Cash handling skills.
- Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.
- 1 year of banking experience.
