About the position

As a Customer Experience Banker Non NMLS, you will serve as a Financial Concierge for our walk-in customers, playing a crucial role in helping them achieve their financial goals. This position is designed for individuals who thrive in a welcoming and inclusive team environment where they are empowered to make a difference every day. You will be responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying their financial goals and needs. This involves recommending appropriate deposit and other banking products and services to meet those needs. You will process customer transactions accurately and efficiently while balancing daily operations, all while providing exemplary customer service. In this role, you will be expected to provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve any customer issues that may arise. You will need to be proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products, ensuring they are well-informed about their options. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through a disciplined sales process, which includes a new customer follow-up program, outbound calling, and sourcing referrals from customers and partners. You will also educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong partnerships. Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures is essential in this role. You will demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, communication, and presentation. Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the team and the bank's objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
  • Being proficient in understanding and educating customers on consumer deposit products.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED and minimum of 1 year customer service or military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 1 year or more in customer service in banking, financial services or goal driven retail sales (preferred).
  • Cash handling skills (preferred).
  • Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services (preferred).
