About the position

As a Customer Experience Host at the Exchange, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers utilizing self-checkout registers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage multiple self-checkout stations while delivering exceptional customer service through proactive engagement and a customer-focused approach. You will assist customers with their transactions, verify IDs, and ensure that they are eligible to shop. Your enthusiasm for helping customers will create a friendly and efficient checkout experience, making you a vital part of the team. You will be expected to start conversations, make connections, and multitask effectively to serve each customer promptly and efficiently. In addition to managing self-checkout registers, you may also assist with regular checkout stations as needed. Your role will involve greeting every customer with eye contact and a smile, acknowledging waiting customers, and completing transactions accurately while engaging them in appropriate conversation. You will be responsible for following proper procedures for bagging merchandise and handling large or heavy items, ensuring that customers feel welcomed and valued throughout their shopping experience. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Completion of high school or equivalent education.
