About the position

The Customer Experience Manager at The RealReal is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the store, ensuring a seamless customer experience while managing logistics and team performance. This role involves task allocation, adherence to standard operating procedures, and effective communication with various teams to address any operational challenges. The manager will also play a key role in training staff and driving sales strategies to meet business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and allocate tasks to the team regarding the consignment product pipeline.
  • Oversee day-to-day store operations, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures and service level agreements.
  • Assist in training new retail team members and keep staff updated on sales strategies.
  • Synthesize goals with real-time information to drive strategy and achieve results for all functional groups in the store.
  • Model and enforce compliance with company policies and customer service standards.
  • Manage location logistics and outbound shipping processes.
  • Accountable for accurate reporting of shipped units and meeting supply plans.
  • Collaborate with the Expert team to maintain alignment in customer experience and processes.

Requirements

  • Approximately 2 years of experience in luxury sales.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience working under budgets to create effective plans.
  • Strong team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Quick learner who enjoys tackling unfamiliar tasks.
  • Efficient in prioritizing tasks that drive business success.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills using facts and logic.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (preferred).

Nice-to-haves

  • Cross-departmental project coordination and planning experience (preferred).
  • Experience in directly or indirectly leading a team in daily operations (preferred).

Benefits

  • Full-time position with a competitive salary range of $51,714 - $73,693 per year.
