About the position

Pearland School of Music is an established music school located in the Pearland Town Center, and we are seeking a Customer Experience Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming environment for families as they enter the school. The Customer Experience Manager will be responsible for greeting families in the lobby, answering inquiries, providing tours of the facility, and managing various administrative tasks at the front desk. This includes scheduling and other essential functions that ensure the smooth operation of the school. The position offers a starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with opportunities for regular bonuses based on performance and goal achievement. It is important to note that no prior music experience is required for this role, making it accessible to a wide range of candidates. The schedule for this position includes working four weeknights from 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM. After the initial training period, the Customer Experience Manager will be expected to maintain this schedule consistently. The role requires reliable transportation to commute to the school location. The ideal candidate will possess a friendly demeanor and a strong ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. This includes answering phones with a positive tone and excitement, as well as responding to emails with proper spelling, grammar, and structure. A great memory is essential for remembering names and details about clients, which enhances the customer experience. In addition to customer interaction, the Customer Experience Manager will be responsible for selling the school’s services to potential clients, both over the phone and in person. This aspect of the job is crucial, and candidates who dislike sales should reconsider applying. Other responsibilities include registering and scheduling clients, processing enrollments, maintaining cleanliness at the end of the day, and effectively communicating with teachers, staff, and clients. The ideal candidate will have experience in fast-paced environments that involve significant public interaction, such as restaurants, hospitality, phone customer support, retail, or medical offices. While management experience is a plus, it is not a requirement for this position.
