About the position

The Customer Experience Manager at Balfour Beatty Communities is responsible for delivering and maintaining exceptional living experiences for residents. This role encompasses a variety of property marketing, sales, and customer engagement activities, ensuring that the Community Management Team meets leasing goals and maintains budgeted occupancy. The position involves overseeing the Resident Experience Specialists and guiding residents through the leasing process, from application to move-out.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve budgeted occupancy and implement marketing strategies.
  • Review leasing and prospect management in accordance with company policies.
  • Renew residents at the end of lease terms as required.
  • Deliver high levels of resident experience and satisfaction through professional interactions.
  • Create exceptional living experiences from lease offer to renewal or move-out.
  • Inspect properties regularly to identify deficiencies or issues.
  • Conduct pre-inspections on move-ins and move-out inspections using company software.
  • Assign and monitor specific neighborhoods or designated streets for CES.
  • Conduct vacate notice follow-ups and inspections.
  • Manage on-site audits to ensure compliance with company policy.
  • Assist with resident engagement and coordination of events and activities.
  • Be knowledgeable of community lease agreements and policies to assist residents.
  • Meet, greet, and engage prospective residents to identify their needs and resolve objections.
  • Conduct market surveys to compare competition.
  • Train staff on software system usage and compliance with company policy.
  • Ensure availability of various touring options for prospective residents.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in customer service, preferably in Property Management or Hospitality.
  • Strong customer engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with Property Management Software, Yardi is a plus.
  • Possession of a valid state-issued Driver's License and a safe driving record.
