The Customer Experience Manager (CEM) plays a crucial role in this mission by ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. Under the leadership of the Store Manager, the CEM directly leads the Support Lead, Lead Cashier(s), and associates of the store while acting as the Manager on Duty. This position is responsible for creating a customer-centric environment that prioritizes customer satisfaction and operational excellence. The CEM is tasked with driving front-end operations, managing cash handling procedures, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This role is pivotal in achieving sales targets and enhancing brand loyalty by leading the team effectively. The CEM embodies the Five Below values, which include putting the customer first, unleashing passion, treating the business as their own, setting high standards, and fostering a fun work atmosphere. The CEM is not only a leader but also a trainer and motivator, responsible for developing associates and ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer service. In this role, the CEM will also be involved in various operational tasks such as staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management. They will utilize financial reporting to identify business opportunities and assist in merchandising procedures. The CEM is expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, ensuring that all associates adhere to Five Below's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). This position is essential for maintaining the store's operational efficiency and creating a WOW experience for customers.
