About the position

The Customer Experience Representative - Collections at Poudre Libraries plays a vital role in enhancing customer service for library patrons. This part-time position involves various tasks within the Interlibrary Loan office, focusing on facilitating access to library resources and ensuring a positive experience for both internal and external customers. The representative will utilize the Sierra system to address customer service issues and manage library materials effectively.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate customer service for internal and external customers
• Evaluate damaged materials under the direction of Collection supervisors
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of the Sierra system to problem-solve customer service issues
• Process customer and item record reports in Sierra
• Load and unload courier crates
• Process Prospector loans and returns
• Bundle and unbundle library materials
• Load and unload carts
• Troubleshoot Prospector problems
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Detail-oriented
• Updated and current computer skills
• Ability to use a telephone, voice mail, and other electronic resources
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work under limited supervision and exercise independent judgment.

Benefits
