Customer Experience Representative - PVD Airport

About the position

The Customer Experience Representative at National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car is responsible for providing superior customer service and facilitating the rental process at T.F. Green International Airport. This role involves engaging with customers in a friendly manner, ensuring efficient transactions, and offering company-approved services and products to enhance the customer experience. The position requires a commitment to quality and innovation, with opportunities for performance-based promotions and earning potential.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers in a professional, friendly, and timely manner
• Provide superior, efficient customer service by understanding and communicating rental terms and conditions, vehicle features, and other services
• Offer additional customer assistance by providing directions, maps, local area information, and appropriate service information
• Answer incoming calls for reservations, rate quotes, general questions, and provide information and resolution for customers, other branches, and vendors
• Place outgoing calls for callback management and miscellaneous calls as assigned
• Assist in assessing the condition of rental vehicles upon return
• Notify management of any known customer problems
• Notify management of any known vehicle problems and any required vehicle maintenance
• Continuously build knowledge and skills, pursue on-the-job training and development opportunities, and participate in company-sponsored classroom training

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
• Minimum of 2 years of customer service or sales experience in retail, guest services, or administrative support
• Valid US driver's license for a minimum of 1 year
• No more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record in the past 3 years
• No drug or alcohol-related incidents on driving record in the past 5 years
• Basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products required
• Authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship
• Willing to accept the starting pay of $20.19/hr plus potential to earn $1/hr shift differential and incentive-based bonuses
• Ability to work up to 40 hours a week including weekends starting at 4:00pm
