About the position

The Customer Experience Representative at BrandsMart serves as a vital link between customers and various departments, ensuring customer inquiries and complaints are addressed efficiently. This role is essential for maintaining customer satisfaction and involves communication with store management, buyers, and manufacturers to resolve issues promptly. The position is designed for individuals looking to grow in a dynamic retail environment focused on customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Handle all customer calls pertaining to complaints or problems quickly and courteously.
  • Log each customer problem or complaint in a Customer Inquiry Sheet maintained in the customer service office.
  • Correctly identify a customer's difficulty and provide a solution with minimal supervision.
  • Utilize a variety of solutions to solve customer problems.
  • Expedite repair orders or the estimate process to shorten normal repair times.
  • Assist Front Counter Representatives in explaining policies and procedures and solving walk-in customer problems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write in English to complete necessary documentation.
  • Fluency in spoken English for effective communication with customers.
  • Basic math skills for verifying amounts and costs of repairs and parts.
  • Ability to lift goods weighing up to twenty pounds.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior retail and/or customer service experience is preferred.
