About the position

The Customer Experience Representative at Visual Comfort & Co. serves as the primary point of contact for customers, providing essential product and service information while resolving issues to maintain high standards of customer satisfaction. This role involves handling a significant volume of inquiries through various channels and requires a commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Effectively handles a high volume of inbound calls, chat and email/ZenDesk inquiries during scheduled shifts, as assigned
  • Accurately processes quotes, orders and returns
  • Follows through with customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Resolves routine customer issues independently, escalating queries and concerns to managers, as appropriate
  • Actively participates in training involving our products, systems and design
  • Exhibits professionalism with customers, team members and all levels of leadership

Requirements

  • 1-3 years' previous experience in customer service
  • Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating CRM and Order Management systems
  • Experience in interior design, custom home building products, luxury home furnishings and/or lighting industry a plus
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and changing priorities
  • Must demonstrate maturity in judgement, commitment, dependability, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule as determined by manager
  • Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone
