About the position

This is a fully remote position for a Customer Facing Supply Chain Manager at BlueTriton Brands, a leading provider of spring and purified water products. The role is primarily focused on managing the supply chain operations for the Walmart Inc. business. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of Customer Facing Supply Chain Management. The position requires a proactive approach to forming collaborative opportunities with customers and coordinating multi-functional teams from the initial concept to final delivery. The manager will ensure that BlueTriton consistently excels in service and supply, adhering to the principle of being 'Brilliant at the Basics.' A critical aspect of this role involves understanding customer Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), agreeing on targets with the customer, and regularly reporting against these targets. The manager will also drive various Supply Chain Customer Efficiency Initiatives, including Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), deductions, and order smoothing. The role demands a willingness to challenge the status quo to enhance customer satisfaction and create new business opportunities. Additionally, the manager will demonstrate strong people leadership skills to influence others and partner with sales to design cost-effective delivery solutions that maximize sales opportunities. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field, or equivalent experience in customer service, supply chain, or sales. Candidates should have successfully led projects that require both commercial and supply chain knowledge and have experience in collaborative cross-functional business development projects. The role may involve travel of up to 25%.

Responsibilities

  • Form collaborative opportunities with the Customer, coordinating multi-functional teams from concept to final delivery.
  • Ensure BlueTriton is 'Brilliant at the Basics' consistently regarding service and supply.
  • Understand Customer KPI's, agree to targets with the Customer, and report regularly against these targets.
  • Drive Supply Chain Customer Efficiency Initiatives such as EDI, VMI, deductions, and order smoothing.
  • Challenge the status quo to improve Customer Satisfaction and create business opportunities with the Customer.
  • Demonstrate people leadership skills for influencing others.
  • Partner with sales to design optimally cost-effective delivery solutions for initiatives to maximize sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or related field, or 3-5 years of customer experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Successfully led projects and initiatives that require both commercial and supply chain understanding.
  • Experience in collaborative cross-functional business development projects.
