About the position

The Customer Finance Manager at Chobani plays a crucial role in bridging the Sales and Finance teams, focusing on driving excellence in customer business units. This position involves ensuring accurate volume and net revenue forecasts, understanding key drivers and variances, and supporting initiatives such as new product launches and pricing changes. The role requires conducting ad hoc analyses to support both Sales and Finance teams, particularly in areas like promotional effectiveness and trade investment opportunities. Successful candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong interest in Consumer Packaged Goods.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leaders on the monthly forecast process, ensuring accurate volume, promo, and trade inputs.
  • Identify sources of forecast variance and recommend process or strategy changes to eliminate them.
  • Proactively identify and quantify risks and opportunities for the customer business unit.
  • Apply Chobani tools to assess promo performance at key customers and find opportunities for improvement.
  • Implement key company-wide initiatives, including new product launches and marketing campaigns.
  • Drive profitable growth for the business unit using Chobani's framework and tools.
  • Support the field's work with the JDA business planning tool and recommend improvements.
  • Prepare for regular quarterly and monthly business reviews with senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure sales teams have the necessary support and tools.
  • Identify and drive opportunities for change in both external customer interactions and internal processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7+ years total experience, with significant focus in Consumer Packaged Goods
  • Strong understanding of CPG trade: pricing and promotion planning, customer negotiation
  • Strong leadership qualities with cross-functional exposure
  • Track record of being highly client-focused, building and maintaining excellent relationships
  • Highly organized with the ability to balance multiple projects
  • Ability to work with and summarize findings from complex data
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Willing to travel (less than 20%)
