About the position

The Customer Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations within a dedicated transportation function, focusing on operations and account management. This role involves leading direct reports, achieving operational goals, and ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to safety and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations within the assigned function.
• Manage staffing performance and development of employees.
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and expectation management.
• Plan and schedule daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and state/local/federal regulations.
• Provide off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
• Two or more years of relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field required.
• One or more years of direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required.
• Advanced logistics industry knowledge required.
• Knowledge of customer/company local and federal regulations required.
• Intermediate knowledge of supply chain management components required.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing and production required.
