We are immediately hiring a 2nd shift Customer Logistics Manager in DeSoto, TX, for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This position is essential for overseeing the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, ensuring that all aspects of Operations and Account Management are effectively managed. The Customer Logistics Manager will be responsible for leading a team of direct reports and achieving daily operational goals within their functional area. This role requires a strong focus on customer service satisfaction and expectation management, as well as performance management and development of both exempt and non-exempt employees. The manager will also be tasked with day-to-day planning and scheduling, health and safety management, and ensuring compliance with state, local, and federal regulations. In addition to these responsibilities, the Customer Logistics Manager will need to demonstrate a high level of analytical ability to solve unusual and difficult problems, make timely decisions, and maintain strong oral and written communication skills. The ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization is crucial, as is the flexibility to operate independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. The role also requires proficiency in MS Office applications and a strong understanding of logistics industry knowledge, customer/company regulations, and supply chain management components.
