About the position

We are immediately hiring a Warehouse Operations Manager in Ladson, SC, for our Supply Chain Solutions division. This position is crucial for overseeing the day-to-day operations within an assigned function, ensuring that all aspects of Operations and Account Management are effectively managed. The Warehouse Operations Manager will be responsible for leading direct reports and achieving daily operational goals within their assigned functional area. This role is not just about managing logistics; it involves ensuring customer satisfaction, performance management of staff, and compliance with health and safety regulations as well as state, local, and federal regulations. The Warehouse Operations Manager will work on the 2nd shift, from Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. This position requires a high level of analytical ability to solve unusual and difficult problems, as well as strong communication skills to maintain professional relationships across all levels of the organization. The role demands flexibility and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. In addition to the essential functions, the Warehouse Operations Manager will also perform other duties as assigned, which may include off-shift support during critical customer network disruptions or crises. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations within an assigned function.
  • Manage all aspects of Operations and Account Management.
  • Lead and develop exempt and non-exempt employees.
  • Ensure customer service satisfaction and manage expectations.
  • Plan and schedule daily operations effectively.
  • Manage health and safety compliance and regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with state, local, and federal regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain preferred.
  • Two (2) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry related field required.
  • One (1) year or more direct supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) is required, advanced level required.
  • Advanced logistics industry knowledge required.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of Customer/Company local and Federal regulations required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Supply Chain Management components required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Manufacturing and Production required.
