About the position

The Customer Onboarding Representative at MarketStar is responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new customers using the Bird customer engagement platform. This role involves providing technical training, assessing customer needs, and facilitating successful integration with existing systems. The representative will act as the primary point of contact for new clients during their initial 30-60 days, ensuring they are equipped to effectively utilize the platform and achieve their goals.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for new customers during the onboarding process.
  • Provide technical training and onboarding support to new clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of new customers' needs and goals.
  • Plan for integration with clients' existing systems and technologies.
  • Understand specific use cases and requirements for utilizing Bird solutions.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in feature functionality and practical application of all product offerings.
  • Partner with marketing to create and deliver onboarding and troubleshooting materials.
  • Collaborate effectively with sales, product, and solution engineering teams.
  • Address technical issues and provide effective solutions.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide informed insights to clients.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in technical issue resolution and client-facing issue discovery.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Knowledge of PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and public cloud concepts.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to clients clearly.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience managing client expectations and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address client issues.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with the CPaaS industry is a plus.
  • Determination to learn and be coached with a positive attitude.
