About the position

The Customer Onboarding Specialist at McKesson serves as the primary point of contact for clients who have chosen McKesson as their wholesaler. This role is crucial in ensuring the successful onboarding of new business opportunities by leveraging compliance knowledge, business rules, and technical expertise. The specialist is responsible for the implementation and quality assurance of new business accounts, ensuring all requirements are met for pricing, regulatory, and credit aspects. This position requires collaboration across various functional areas to facilitate smooth onboarding processes and resolve any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and implement new customer onboarding processes end-to-end.
  • Ensure compliance with pricing, regulatory, and credit requirements for new business accounts.
  • Act as the onboarding lead, coordinating with all relevant departments for customer implementations.
  • Provide first contact support and issue resolution for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with business partners to provide onboarding progress reports and actionable insights.
  • Ensure accurate and timely workflow submissions for new business onboardings.
  • Conduct detailed analyses and reviews of processes with adherence to SOX compliance and company policies.
  • Gather and analyze data from reporting resources to drive consolidated analyses and reporting.
  • Proactively seek improvements in processes for greater efficiency and better controls.

Requirements

  • Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience, with a preference for 3+ years in project management, sales support, operations, or administration.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for managing and prioritizing tasks and projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Knowledge of Smartsheet, Tableau, SQL, and MS Access.
  • Familiarity with SAP and/or Salesforce.
  • Understanding of McKesson's customer base in specialty.
