About the position

The Customer Onboarding Specialist at Aircraft Performance Group is responsible for supporting new customers in configuring and training on the company's aviation software solutions. This role involves ensuring compliance with operational requirements, maintaining customer satisfaction, and enhancing the onboarding process through effective communication and collaboration with sales and support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Assure that user and crew accounts for new customers are created correctly and on-time.
  • Assure compliance with the customer's operational requirements, including aircraft data such as fuel flows and mass and balance.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of aviation software solutions to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
  • Collaborate with sales and support teams to ensure a seamless handoff of customer relationships and proactively identify potential issues.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the onboarding process by identifying best practices and leveraging customer feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, onboarding progress, and training materials in the CRM system.
  • Maintain and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with the initial setup of their aircraft and accounts.
  • Update customer accounts with a quick turnaround.
  • Communicate customer feedback with the Account Manager.
  • Build strong rapport with customers.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in customer onboarding, flight operations, technical support, or training roles, preferably within the aviation industry.
  • Strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn new software applications.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • A highly customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to converse with persons at all levels within the aviation industry.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong ability to proactively analyze and problem solve.
