About the position

Century Distribution Systems has been a leader in combining advanced technology and supply chain, logistics, freight management, and 3PL services for over 50 years. As a Customer Operations and Logistics Analyst, you will work to fulfill contracted service obligations utilizing cutting-edge technology and excellent customer service skills. This role requires you to work independently in a professional capacity to deliver supply chain management activities and services provided by Century Distribution Systems to our customers. In this position, you will engage in all facets of logistical services, providing operational support for customers. You will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring all communication via email between customers and Century Offices to keep updated on customer account status and requirements. Additionally, you will review documentation for compliance and monitor, analyze, and perform quality control procedures on operational deliverables. Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for customers by actively engaging in all facets of logistical services.
  • Review and monitor all communication via email between customers and/or Century Offices to keep updated on customer account status and requirements.
  • Review documentation for compliance.
  • Monitor, analyze and perform quality control procedures on operational deliverables.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or similar field of study is a plus.
  • 2-3 years in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced technology skills including Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to easily learn and become proficient at various operating systems and proprietary software platforms.
  • B2B Customer Service Experience.
  • High level organizational and time management skills required.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational problems with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
  • Technological proficiency in various operating systems and proprietary software platforms.
