About the position
As a Senior Billing & Invoicing Specialist at Trimble Transportation, you will play a crucial role in managing customer inquiries related to billing issues. This position involves de-escalation, investigation, and resolution of customer concerns, ensuring effective communication through various channels. You will collaborate with internal teams to address root causes of issues and contribute to process improvements, all while leveraging your expertise to foster continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Handle de-escalation, investigation, and resolution of customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
- Manage work from CRM queues and/or email as needed, responding to inquiries from internal partners and customers.
- Schedule meetings with internal partners and customers to discuss billing issues.
- Document new processes for performance assessments and aid in special operations projects.
- Partner with Customer Operations Analyst to analyze the root cause of customer requests for financial restitution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in a customer solution environment, transportation and/or technology related fields.
- 2+ years experience in working directly with customers on billing/invoicing issues.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize information from customer complaints and coordinate solutions with speed and accuracy.
- Strong customer focus, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience managing data within Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Ability to balance customer needs with procedural integrity.
- Strong ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively to others.
- Demonstrated ability to manage conflict and disagreement towards resolution.
