About the position

The Customer Operations Coordinator at Spindrift is a pivotal role that involves managing customer orders and ensuring seamless communication between various teams. This position is responsible for the receipt and verification of customer orders, processing them according to company guidelines in an accurate and timely manner. The coordinator will handle up to 5,000 customer orders annually, necessitating a high level of attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication with the Sales team and customers is crucial to resolve any issues or challenges that may arise during the order process. In addition to order management, the Customer Operations Coordinator will develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external partners, representing Spindrift Customer Operations for their designated customer base. Collaboration with the Accounting team is essential to address and resolve any finance-related issues, such as order discrepancies, credit holds, and pricing concerns. The role also requires the ability to independently identify and resolve issues with freight and warehousing partners, particularly for shipments that contain incomplete or inaccurate information. The coordinator will be expected to achieve corporate goals as well as specific functional objectives, identifying opportunities to improve procedures and policies that add value to the business. Maintaining accurate tracking and tracing of customer data records, both on and off the ERP system, is also a key responsibility of this position.

Responsibilities

  • Receipt and verification of customer orders to process as per company guidelines in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responsible for up to 5,000 customer orders per year.
  • Maintain effective communication with Sales team and customers to resolve issues/challenges.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external partners to represent Spindrift Customer Operations for your specified customer base.
  • Work with Accounting team to ensure any finance related issues (e.g., order discrepancies, credit holds, pricing, etc.) are addressed and resolved as needed.
  • Independently identify and resolve issues with freight and warehousing partners for all shipments containing incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Achieve overall corporate as well as specific functional goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve procedures and policies that add value to the business.
  • Maintain tracking and tracing customer data records both on and off ERP system.

Requirements

  • Customer Service experience in a consumer food or beverage company is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline.
  • Ability to work in a company with an entrepreneurial/non-structured environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, as well as web-based applications.
  • Ability to rapidly develop an in-depth knowledge of company products and business operations.
  • Team and individual leadership skills with a strong sense of urgency in all matters related to the health of the business.
