About the position

The Customer Operations Specialist I at Cantaloupe, Inc. is a key member of the Customer Operations team, responsible for providing comprehensive support to customers throughout their journey. This role involves processing day-to-day functions related to device management and ensuring customer expectations are met through effective communication and attention to detail. The Specialist will also support sales and support teams, contributing to overall company objectives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Process Customer Operations tasks including transfers, activations, deactivations, onboarding, and device management.
  • Update customer accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Support sales and support teams with general operations to help reach company objectives.
  • Act as a point of contact for the department and communicate important feedback from customers internally.
  • Proactively work towards efficiencies within the role over time.
  • Answer email messages and process cases in a timely manner.
  • Regularly review and update documentation for process improvement.
  • Contact customers to obtain missing information and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Experience with Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple requests.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or operations roles.
  • Familiarity with device management processes.
