The Product Owner I is a pivotal role within the organization, responsible for ensuring that a development team, referred to as a pod, is delivering customer-focused product increments that create value for the organization. The Product Owner I is tasked with creating and maintaining a prioritized product backlog, managing delivery blockers, and continuously assessing customer feedback to maximize value. In this role, the Product Owner I acts as a key subject matter expert, leveraging substantial knowledge and expertise in a complex field while integrating knowledge of the enterprise's overarching strategy to develop solutions across multiple functions. The individual is accountable for specialized product development support, interpreting internal and external business challenges, and recommending best practices to improve products, processes, or services. The role also involves leading cross-functional understanding and solving complex problems, while using sophisticated analytical thought to identify solutions that impact the achievement of business objectives.
