About the position

The Customer Portfolio Manager (CPM) at GE Vernova is responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring profitability and satisfaction for assigned contracts within the Gas Power sector. This role involves overseeing service agreements, coordinating customer communication, and leading outage planning and execution. The CPM acts as a liaison between internal teams and customers, driving operational excellence and contributing to the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between internal/external organizations and assigned customers.
  • Own the customer relationship and communication, contributing to business strategy and P&L growth.
  • Develop and manage a site customer communication plan, facilitating regular customer meetings.
  • Oversee warranty and commercial considerations, balancing benefits for the customer and GE.
  • Manage outage scope and communicate it to the field services team.
  • Plan for outage and non-outage parts, including quotes and orders.
  • Lead resolution of emergent/forced outage matters.
  • Facilitate pre-outage, post-outage, and milestone meetings regarding repairs and services.
  • Ensure contract fulfillment and understanding of terms and conditions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University or an Associates degree with 7 years of experience in the power generation industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Technical Field experience with Heavy Duty Gas Turbine and/or Steam Power.

Nice-to-haves

  • Exceptional communication skills and time management.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft tools such as Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Lean processes and tools.
